The Warriors of Zimbabwe travelled to Kigali, Rwanda on Friday to kick-start preparations for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Amavubi and Super Eagles.

Eight home-based players made the trip including the technical crew members.

The contingent will be joined by their foreign-based counterpart, who are expected to start arriving camp this weekend.

Head coach, Beltmar Brito invited 28 players to camp for both games.

The two matches will be played at the Huye Stadium, Butare.

Zimbabwe have no approved stadium of their own and must play their home games at a neutral venue.

The Warriors will begin their qualifying campaign away to Rwanda on November 15 and then at home to Nigeria four days later.
