I commiserate with the Government and the good people of Ondo State over yesterday’s gruesome murder that claimed the lives of many worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church Owo, most of whom were Igbos.
This unprovoked attack is quite barbaric and highly condemnable. I support the call for a holistic investigation by the security agencies to unravel the mystery behind the killing and bring to book, the perpetrators.
The issue of security is everyone’s business therefore, a formidable synergy and partnership between civilian citizens and security agencies guarantees a forestall to wanton attacks and killings.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. I pray as well, that God comforts families who were affected by this carnage and the people of Owo.
