Protesters have blocked a major road in Lagos, resulting in a long queue of cars around Ojota.
The protesters led by Hassan Soweto, one of the organisers and national coordinator of the Education Rights Campaign, parked a the van in the middle of the road, while expressing concerns about the state of the nation.
Daily Trust observed that many vehicles reversed and took alternative routes to their destination while those trapped were unable to leave.
The protest is still intense in Lagos.
