Gov Makinde, Odo Omin bridge, Adegbayi -Ajia Road need attention

A stitch in time saves nine captures the drive towards drawing the attention of the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, to the state of Odo Omin bridge.

Without an iota of doubt the chunk of resources which His Excellency has committed to the construction of the bridge informed me to once again appeal to the governor to please give a second and final look at the abandoned road with a view to saving the resources expended on it from going down the drain. Rainy season is fast approaching and the state of the bridge now calls for the attention of His Excellency.  When the engineering work of the bridge was completed, motorists couldn’t make use of the road.

Everybody that knew how bad the road was before the intervention of the governor genuinely appreciates His Excellency for the intervention. It would therefore be painful to watch the erosion of the resources expended on the road without calling the attention of the governor to it. The sand filled bridge is likely to be washed away if urgent and decisive step is not taken now to avert it.

One cannot but appreciate the governor who has committed so much resources to this road which hitherto was terribly bad and motorists avoided plying it. Its construction has been a blessing to all the users. However, the tarring of the road from where it was stopped to Adegbayi will put smiles on the faces of the people of that area.
